Who we are

The Finger Games is a local multiplayer party game for touchscreens, published by Kluin Studio. This policy explains what the app and its website do with information when you play. For any questions you can reach us at info@kluinstudio.com.

Data stored on your device

When you set a new record, the app stores that record in your device's local storage so you can see it the next time you play. Each saved record contains:

• the time you achieved, and
• a short name or nickname you type yourself (up to 20 characters).

This information never leaves your device. It is not sent to us or to any server, and we cannot read it. If you uninstall the app or clear its storage, the saved records are gone. Please do not enter real personal details as your record name, since the field is meant for a free chosen nickname.

Anonymous usage analytics (website only)

This section applies only to the website version of the game. The installed Android and iOS app contains no analytics and sends nothing to us.

On the website, to understand how often the game is opened and which games are played, we use Umami, a privacy focused analytics service. Umami is cookieless and is designed not to collect personal data. It does not build profiles of individual users and does not track you across other apps or websites.

It records aggregated, anonymous statistics such as:

• which screens are opened and how often;
• an approximate region (country level), derived from your IP address;
• device type, operating system, and browser engine.

Your IP address is used only to derive the country and is not stored by Umami. These statistics are processed by Umami Cloud on our behalf. You can read about their approach at umami.is.

What we do not collect

• No account, login, name, email, or phone number.
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone access.
• We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own use.

Device features the app uses

The app uses a few harmless device features purely to play the game:

• vibration (haptic feedback) when something happens in a round;
• keeping the screen awake while you play;
• locking the screen orientation.

None of these collect or transmit information.

Children's privacy

The Finger Games is suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect personal data and require no account, the app does not knowingly gather information from children. The anonymous usage statistics described above contain nothing that identifies a person, regardless of age.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
